Message from the President
The holidays are behind us and it is hard to believe we are nearing the end of January. The MPI Pittsburgh Chapter Leadership has been working hard to secure venues, speakers and provide quality monthly education programs to our members.
MPI International will soon send out the annual membership survey. I encourage each of you to participate in the survey. Your favorable responses will help provide wonderful benefits to our Chapter including more affordable quality speakers. In 2011, 24% of our membership participated in the survey, 67% of our responses came from planners and 23% from suppliers. We thank those who have participated and look forward to even more responses this year. Watch for your survey to arrive in early March.
You won’t want to miss our next monthly educational program! “How to Engage Hearts & Minds with Brain Friendly Meetings” will be presented by Andrea Sullivan, MA. The program will be held at the Omni William Penn on February 1, 2012 and is sponsored by the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. I look forward to seeing each of you there.
